NFL Odds: Dallas Cowboys Getting Five Points Against Indianapolis Colts

The Colts (6-5), however, are still in the running for a ninth straight trip to the postseason.The Colts will try to get back on track Sunday when they host the the Dallas Cowboys at Lucas Oil Stadium. Perhaps even more shocking than the loss was the fact that Peyton Manning threw four interceptions.Despite Indy’s recent struggles, they remain tied with Jacksonville for first place in the division. Tennessee and Houston are both one game back. In such a tight race, the margin for error is slim.Perhaps no team depends on one player more than the Colts, who would not have enjoyed such a lengthy run of success had it not been for Manning.With that said, Indy is going to have a tough time reaching the postseason if it doesn’t get better play from its MVP signal caller. Manning has been intercepted seven times the last two weeks. Chemistry has certainly been lacking as he has missed Dallas Clark, Austin Collie and Joseph Addai.With these three out of the lineup, teams have been able to key on Pro Bowl wide receiver Reggie Wayne, who was held without a touchdown catch for the seventh time in nine games last Sunday.Clark has been placed on injured reserve with a hand injury. Collie is listed as questionable as he continues to recover from a concussion he suffered in Week 9. a neck injury.Despite the injuries, Indy should have a decent shot at if it can take care of business in its divisional games. The Colts have another showdown with Jacksonville, and they play Tennessee twice down the stretch.The Colts are 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games as a home favorite of 3.5 to 10.0 points.The Cowboys are 3-8 but they haven’t been playing like it. They are 2-1 under interim coach Jason Garrett and nearly pulled off a sensational comeback against New Orleans on Thanksgiving.The Cowboys are hoping to finish the season strong to build some momentum for next year, but that is not something they have been good at in recent years. In fact, Dallas is just 4-8 in December contests the last four seasons.
